How cool that you are getting to experience other horses doing something so fun. Rocco looks like fun, and the green boots look great on him! <br />Karen and TrippKaren C.https://www.blogger.com/profile/17821715845950939900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1780912362953300892.post-25429756814639513102013-02-16T18:25:03.682-07:002013-02-16T18:25:03.682-07:00The pony never has to know, since I'm not ridi...The pony never has to know, since I'm not riding them in front of her. In all of these cases, I've known the horses and know they were all sensible and sane.Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04720090581233703530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1780912362953300892.post-51696574901854680312013-02-16T18:22:33.611-07:002013-02-16T18:22:33.611-07:00It all sounds very fun, I hope Mimi isn't too ...It all sounds very fun, I hope Mimi isn't too jealous. Some handsome horses there, and some good ones it sounds like. I'd be afraid I'd get offered one of "those" horses you see at a ride and think "I could never deal with that!"irish horsehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11289040711028666546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1780912362953300892.post-50734115217327496732013-02-16T06:27:41.295-07:002013-02-16T06:27:41.295-07:00Agree with all of those things! I'm learning that the larger ones, while harder to *get* on, and much easier to *stay* on than lil' go-kart ponies.Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04720090581233703530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1780912362953300892.post-76528293579317804292013-02-16T06:26:31.504-07:002013-02-16T06:26:31.504-07:00It is pretty nice, which helps make up for July an...It is pretty nice, which helps make up for July and August.Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04720090581233703530noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1780912362953300892.post-15560130040691505622013-02-15T21:08:35.366-07:002013-02-15T21:08:35.366-07:00I've been riding a lot of other endurance ride...I've been riding a lot of other endurance rider's extra pasture ornaments for most of the winter and learning a lot about what I like... and hate... in other horses. I've learned that I don't care how lovely the horse can move forward if it doesn't have brakes, that 15.3 is hard to mount from the ground on trail but feels lovely underneath me, and that not enough can be said in praise of a horse who thinks about where they put their feet before they put them there. Riding all the other horses though is a fun challenge!Caitlinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05459999598962107210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1780912362953300892.post-50406482552183549062013-02-15T20:23:59.378-07:002013-02-15T20:23:59.378-07:00It looks like you're getting to ride an assort...It looks like you're getting to ride an assortment of nice horses!
